Kenneth Allsop Memorial Trust
On Saturday 16th September 2017 Pilot Tony Anderton gave an illustrated talk to the Kenneth Allsop Memorial Trust members at the Queenswood Hotel in Weston super Mare.
The Trust looks after the island of Steepholm, which is just off Weston in the Bristol Channel. The talk covered Bristol Channel pilot’s history, a day in the life of a maritime pilot and trade in the port of Bristol. A collection was made after the well attended event and £75.00 was collected on behalf of the RNLI.
