Jason Wiltshire

After a seagoing career culminating as Master on Ro-Pax ferries and High Speed Craft around the UK, Jason began his pilotage career in his home port of Dover, where he held an unrestricted authorisation and was responsible for piloting cruise ships up to 320 metres in length. He was a member of the port's senior management team and served in various port management roles such as Duty Harbour Master, VTS Manager, Pilotage Manager, and Advisor to the Designated Person. He later moved to a full time piloting role at London Medway, where he was an authorised pilot for over 100 miles of the Thames Estuary, River Medway and Swale.  Jason joined Bristol Pilots in 2017 and is the Treasurer of the UK Maritime Pilots Association. He holds a Diploma in Port Management and is a certificated VTS Operator.
