EMPA UK Pilots Win the 53rd EMPA football tournament in Bremerhaven

Martin Greenslade from Bristol Pilots represented the UK Pilots football team at the recent EMPA football tournament in Bremerhaven.

Teams from Holland, Germany, France, Italy, Norway, Belgium and the UK made up the 12 who competed for the coveted trophy.

The UK team have played 9 times in the tournament without success, but this year they fielded a strong squad, winning all 5 matches, scoring 14 and conceding only 1 to lift the cup.

They will try to retain the trophy next year at the 54th Tournament in Marseilles in May next year.
