Ben started his seagoing life as a cadet with P&O Princess Cruises, where he remained for 7 years, sailing around the Mediterranean, Northern Europe, Africa, the Caribbean, Central America, Hawaii, Alaska, Australia, South Pacific and even a couple of trips up the Amazon. In 2007 he moved closer to home, working briefly as a harbour tug skipper on the Humber Estuary and then as Chief Officer on a cross-channel ferry. Ben’s most recent seagoing service before joining the partnership was with Condor Ferries, where he served as Master for four years, sailing between the Channel Islands, Weymouth, Poole and St Malo.

He lives in Bristol and enjoys walking, cycling, diving and the occasional paddle.
